We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Avada team as a WordPress & Vue Developer and receive a market-competitive USD hourly rate. This can either be project-based or long-term, on a full-time basis as a contractor.

As a WordPress developer in the Avada team, you will work with a small, tight-knit, creative, and dedicated group of individuals who love WordPress and their customers. We work with GitHub, chat on Skype, and have a flat and open team structure. We look for inspired individuals, happy to take initiative and who like to work self-motivated and self-reliant.

This position is for someone who has deep knowledge of WordPress and the Vue JavaScript framework. You have experience in product development (themes and plugins) and have possibly even contributed to the WordPress Core. You enjoy working on complex problems and coming up with elegant and efficient solutions. You use state-of-the-art coding patterns and technologies while still being aware of the need for backward compatibility. You will spend a good portion of your time working on JavaScript but also have a strong understanding of all other commonly used web technologies, such as PHP, HTML and CSS. We expect several years of experience and a clear understanding of WordPress best practices.
